Nice work, but I would like to know more about it. What medium have you used and what type of support is it on? Such a lovely composition and wonderful colors!
Hello Shani! In reply to your post - my art usually involves several steps – first I do a few rough sketches in pencil and work out a composition. This part can take a while as I can daydream and get a bit overwhelmed by the different possibilities! Then I work out which elements of the image will be hand done and which part can be done in photoshop. It’s a matter of cutting the lino and printing it, scanning the prints and then putting the finishing touches on in Photoshop, changing the composition and trying out different colour combinations. I guess some people might prefer that printmakers work entirely traditionally, personally I enjoy the freedom and seemingly limitless possibilities that working with technology has afforded me. I hope that answers your question :) Cheers! Sandra
Wow, fantastic! Green is my favorite color and you used so many different tones and shades! Very lovely illo! Love your style. Read your process and it is quite involved!
